ECOLOGY

Dollus stands out from other developers thanks to its utmost respect for the environment, and to the ecological approach implemented for each project. We view construction as a way to make man and nature cohabit, which is why our teams are constantly looking for new ideas that will enable us to promote this philosophy.

transplantation de chênes

For example, we have proven that the systematic felling of trees on a construction zone is unnecessary, and that transplantation is a viable option.

During the construction of the first phase of our project Far de Llafranc, over 300 trees were uprooted before the start of the works, and were replanted after the works had been completed. In the span of two years, we have been able to save 294 trees.

For new owners, this also means that they can enjoy the presence of fully-grown trees on their property immediately after their house has been delivered.

We also pride ourselves on giving the gardens in our properties a refined aesthetic that will fit in the local environment.

We consider that planting species that are foreign to the region will not only waste unnecessary water (among other things), but may also bring forth undesirable consequences such as the arrival of foreign species of mosquitoes, etc.
